Innovative Digital-Manual "Duet" of Indirect Bonding
Combined-Digital-Manual (CD-M) method
Precise Indirect Bonding is Crucual for Success in Lingual Orthodontics.
Manufacture can be divided into:
Model Setup
Transfer Jig
Digital model setup is more precise and convenient than wax-plaster. In Digital, we easily, quickly evaluate arch symmetry, Bolton ratio, occlusal interference, IPR, different treatment plan simulations and we decide technique-sensitive bracket positioning.
My innovative hybrid indirect bonding system has 2 parts:
1. Digital model setup, bracket positioning, individualized arch form template, guiding-wire abutment design.
We print the 3D setup model with guiding-wire abutment.
2. Manual guiding-wire bending, using printed digital guiding-wire template & individual transfer jig; Fabrication method is of Hiro / Kommon Base. For rebonding we make a special 3D-printed setup model to adjust tooth position.
My system combines the best merits of digital and manual technique to greatly facilitate lingual braces in my daily practice.
